The off-cuts of wood are given new life as sculptures in this Post Black Sculpture Set, which includes three wood sculptures affixed to minimalist metal bases that turn them into works of art. Burnt to a charred black finish that has been sealed to protect the surface for a long life, these slender, simple sculptures add nice depth to any space. Grouped as they are, they also exude textural interest with the different shapes and heights. This set of black sculptures exemplifies the Phillips Collection ethos of modern organic.
This piece is crafted from natural solid wood. Color and texture in wood will vary and natural holes and subtle openings add unique character to your piece. Wood "breathes" and it is normal for cracks to present themselves over time. This is not considered a defect.
